us for an exciting cowboy adventure on an authentic 48,500-acre working
ranch and take part in traditional cowboy activities, such as cattle round
up and branding. Imagine yourself a cowboy, cresting a hill on your horse
in the early morning sunlight. Imagine the cows, as you gently proceed
to push them towards their next pasture. Imagine the deer, as they disappear
over the pine covered ocher bluffs in this amazing landscape where wildlife
still abounds. Imagine further that this is not taking place just anywhere,
but at the very foot of mystical Devils
Tower, in the northeastern corner of Wyoming, and in the heart of
cowboy country.
With
over 600 cattle, 1000 sheep, 200 buffalo, and horses for riders of all
levels, including first timers and children, there is always something
exciting to do on our 48,500-acre ranch. And the fact we border Devils
Tower, America's first National Monument, insures breathtaking views no
matter what you do! Preferred guest activities include cowboying, pleasure
riding, hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing, camping, driving farming equipment
to help the haying crew, or simply relaxing in the shadow of ever present
Devils Tower!
Free off-ranch options include a guided excursion to the moonlike landscapes of the Badlands National Park, a visit to one of the world's largest open pit coal mines, touring the historic Black Hills - where you can meet America's most famous presidents at Mount Rushmore, see the graves of Wild Bill Hickock and Calamity Jane in the historic town of Deadwood, view buffalo and other wildlife in Custer State Park, go to a rodeo, play golf, and much much more! A trip to the Rocky Mountains and Yellowstone National Park or climbing Devils Tower are other adventures you may enjoy before or after visiting with us. This is the true American West, and you will live it to the fullest every day of your stay.
You will stay
in a comfortable ranch house (photos), beautifully nestled on the edge of a canyon among red ocher bluffs
and Ponderosa pine trees, and with a grandiose view of Devils Tower. Depending
on the day and the meal we will eat hearty ranch home cooking, or in restaurants,
or on the range. We limit the size of our groups to 6 guests, assuring your stay with us is personalized and of high quality. However, we can accommodate larger groups upon request.
We receive guests during the months of June, July, August, and September. Please use the "Your preferred dates" button below to ask us about availability. We will be happy to get back to you.
US$1000 (double occupancy) and US$1200 (private room and bath) per week. Prices include all activities, meals, accomodations, and park
entrance fees.
